Company Profile: Launched in June 2011 in New York City, Whooplon! is a Lifestyle Management and Deal of the Day website offering unique and fun experiences in your city. Our goal is to bring together the people and businesses that make our planet fun.
Job Overview: The external account executive role is for candidates with an interest in creating relationships with local merchants to build partnerships for Whooplon! You know what all the whoopla is about in your city, and want to find the best restaurants, event tickets, travel, classes, and services that are fun and unique. You want to bring these opportunities to others, offering discounts to our subscribers, and valuable customers to vendors. We hire connected sales professionals who have a passion for having fun. Experience in, or an interest in online sales, marketing, advertising, and social media are beneficial.
We are headquartered in New York City and are currently expanding to the locations mentioned above.
• Target and prospect for merchants offering unique and fun experiences
• Assist to close deals with local merchants for featured offerings
• Represent Whooplon! as a meaningful way for merchants to expand their customer base
• Compulsion to have fun and share that with others
• Prospecting, targeting, canvassing or cold-calling sales experience
• Online-advertising sales experience and/or relationships with local merchants is a plus
• $50 per merchant that you introduce who runs a deal with Whooplon!
• $100 bonus per successful deal (ie 10 or more customers purchase)
